I am a Ubuntu user, but most of the time I am running under "other OS". That is caused due to the lack of power management in nouveau, making my laptop run very hot. It's Asus K70IO laptop with a Geforce GT120M (nv96) card
My aim is adding a comprehensive power management to the nouveau's code base (currently nv5x, nv8x nv9x chips)
The main issue is that my approach (currently) looks more like a bitwise magic than any form of programming.
